RUNT ZOO is coming to OPEN DAY!!!!
RUNT ZOO
With their parallel lives, animals offer man a companionship which is different from any offered by human exchange. Different because it is a companionship offered to the loneliness of man as a species.

Our subliminal collective fears and desires aside, the fact is simple: everyone loves a petting zoo. For the 2012 Monash University Faculty of Art and Design Open Day, the Runt/Link student committee welcomes visitors to a PETTING ZOO, which has been plucked from the typical dusty setting of the royal show or community fete and relocated to the soon-to-be-not-so-white cube that is Runt Space. Celebrating the myriad of opportunities afforded by an art education at Monash, Runt Zoo will be an ideal space for forging interaction between current and potential students/artists; embodying notions of community and what it might mean to enter the world of art today –- a world largely characterized, in recent years, by a focus on human interaction in the face of our ever-alienating late-capitalist society.

SEMESTER 2 !!
And we're back. This semester is going to be INTENSE! Runt and Link are hosting a line up of great student shows that continue to showcase the progressive works of Monash Art and Design students.
This semester we are looking forward to the reinvention of Runt's facade which has been a project the committee has been slowly working on and is starting to gain momentum.
Also in more exciting news, the Faculty has been kind enough to ask Runt Link to host a mega-cool event for the Monash Open Day on Sunday, 5th August. MORE DETAILS WILL BE RELEASED SOON - IT IS VERY EXCITING!!!
We are looking for any Faculty of Art and Design students to come and help the committee out on Open Day so please feel free to shoot us an email, facebook or tweet (at runtandlink@gmail.com) if you're interested!!
