This week at LINK WALL: - Grace Crawshaw-McLean presents 'To Everything There is a Season'

Come down to Link Wall this week for third year painting student Grace Crawshaw-McLean's beautiful exhibition. Grace has painstakingly created delicate ceramic works for display, taking notice of that which is often overlooked within the ordinary - the fragile beauty of a shadow, a crack, a leaf.

The audience was entranced as dancers on opposite sides of Runt made a completely new use of the space by acting out a dance performance.

 RECENT SHOW- RUNT SPACE 

Briony impressed us all with her recent interactive exhibition at Runt Space, Monash Caulfield, running from the 22nd-26th April. 

The show consisted of several volunteer 'workers', creating colourful shapes out of playdough, paid by the hour in eggplants or prime beef, depending on the personal preferences of the volunteers. 

The result was an unpredictable collection of sculptural shapes, scattered playfully throughout the plinths and tables occupying the room. Briony's show was a creative and innovative use of space, examining different modes of sculptural practice, audience involvement, the idea of craft and the handmade.

WE HAVE SPACES FROM WEEK 8- 13

Please write a 600 word (max) proposal of what you or your group would like to exhibit in LINK, please be clear in what you aim to do and what you want to exhibit.
       (Include name/s, degree & year level, email, mobile number and titles of the works)

- Include up to 6 images of works with the accompanying titles, materials and dimensions
       (Only choose images which are directly relevant to what you want to present in the space and be specific in whether the images are of the actual works that would be shown or of research/sketches/initial ideas, max image size 1M)

- Past students have not only shown works in the cabinets but also used spaces around them

- The works don't necessarily have to be 2D and remember there are 6 cabinets to fill (approx 130cm height, 230cm length & 5cm width inside the cabinets)

- Group shows welcome
